go to options/display preferences and choose at the bottom to turn it off or on and what kind of clock you want. Top

When receiving a message you will have a translation box at the bottom left corner.
Just choose the langage that you want to translate to, click 'translate'and you will be taken to another window where you can choose language again including CHINESE.

· How do I use the dictionary when I write an email?
When composing an email, there will be a menu the bottom left corner that allows you to:
1. look up a word in the dictionary
2. look up a synonym for a word
3. search the entire web for information related to this word.
Just type a word in the box below the menu, choose on of the 3 choices above and click submit.

No. We only provide email services, you'll still need an ISP to access the internet from home.
For dial-up user. you can have a free Internet dial-up service. just dial this nymber: 40508888 (no area code, suitable in any city and town of Taiwan) and using ID:sina and password:sina to login and access to Internet.

· My ISP gives me email anyway, why would I need wahamail.com?
Most people already have email from an ISP or other free email providers. Even so, there are still many things you can't get from those providers. Please refer to our feature list and the comparison with the other email providers aove.
Most ISP only provide free mail accounts to their customer. so if you change your ISP then you probably can't use their mail account anymore.
We provide a long term, stable, email system independent of where ever you are, and whatever ISP you use. You can get an account with us, and then you have one address you can use if you change ISP's. Also, our system has many advanced features, such as spam protection, advanced filters, aliases, a lot more personal settings, ability to collect your other mailboxes (pop3) and merge them into a single interface, work from any internet kiosk, etc.
No ISP's provide these features.

We started wahamail.com because we were told by many friends that they were sick of trying to find a webmail provider that sought to meet their needs, rather than their advertiser's needs. Taiwan has lots of FREE webmail but you GET what you PAY for........ Top

· How does wahamail.com compare to other providers?
You can't call Yahoo when you have a problem but you sure can call us!
The webmail providers we tried just weren't suitable for professional people
looking for an efficient email system:
- Advertising messages added to the bottom of messages are inappropriate for
professional communications
- Advertising banners and graphics heavy pages mean that pages are slow to
load
- Simple things take too long (e.g. adding more than one attachment to a message
often requires navigating multiple screens)
- Attachment sizes are limiting. Many presentations and spreadsheets sent
through email which is too big for these systems
- Many systems won't let you change the reply address in sent messages, which
is inconvenient and appears unprofessional
So, we set out to provide a system that was designed to be fast and effective.

Wahamail is a team of a few dedicated people; it isn't currently backed by
any large company and is being funded by the programmers involved. This might
worry you in this 'dot-bomb' era, but we think it's definitely advantageous:
- We have low overheads. We don't have any manager, marketing department,
big office space, etc. We use high quality open source software that we have
modified to suit our needs (squirrelmail). Our main expense is server space
and Internet bandwidth. Thus we can break even just by using our payment terms
you see above.
- We're not going for a 'grow huge, fast' strategy. Our purpose is to maintain
a stable and longterm email system. We plan to provide a powerful, professional,
niche service to people who are sick of under-featured, slow email services
that claim to be 'free', here in Taiwan.. Remember, you always get what you
pay for, and 'free' means that either advertisers are paying for your time,
bandwidth and attention, or it's a loss leader for some other service they
want you to buy.
