In our series of web tips and usability issues that we are offering on our Taiwan web site, todays question is:
How do you decide which tone and manner is suitable for your website? How to improve the usability?

ANSWER: Understand your customer

  • ASK your customers what they need.
  • They really know what they would like to see on your web site
  • Learn from your customers what they like. They really have all the answers.
  • Study successful web sites in the same field
  • Don't copy BUT it is alright to study & learn from the competition
These tips can also be applied for a system interface or any graphical user interface

Too see what NOT to do, have a look at these web sites with bad design or functionality [1]
